It is the first time that Costa Rica hosts the Pan-American FIMBA and we are ready to welcome all participants and fans.

Just a bit of information so you will have an idea of what to expect, the tournament will be held during the last week of April and usually we will be transitioning to the Green Season, also known as the rainy season.  During those days you might be experiencing drizzles from time to time with heat going up during the day.  It is an amazing week to enjoy activities outdoors and you will not be meeting lots of crowds since most Costa Ricans will have just finished enjoying their Easter holidays.

The official travel agency that will be in charge of arranging all the activities, tours, transport and lodging is Valle Dorado Tours and they have come up with amazing packages in many of the most iconic hotels in San José including the Best Western Hotel Irazú and Casino.  Hotel Irazú has many amenities including a delicious swimming pool, Denny’s Restaurant and gymnasium and also a spa where participants of the FIMBA can book for massages after their competitions.  It’s location is unparalleled since it is in one of the busiest zones in San José with easy access towards any direction of the city.  Plus it also has an amazing place for drinks and tapas where you will be able to chill after each competition. The official travel agency is putting up a number of special packages designed specially of the Pan-American FIMBA.  Visit their page and choose the best packages in town

As of today 27 teams have confirmed and it includes countries such as: Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Panama, Honduras and Dominican Republic amongst others. If your team is participating make sure you do so before the 31st of December since the fee will go up in January.
